A Note About Buying Books on the Internet
The large book listing sites -- Amazon, Alibris, Abebooks -- take out a fixed percentage (13.5 to 20 percent) of each completed sale made using their services. They also charge a monthly 'rent' fee and reimburse the dealer only a partial amount of the shipping cost for every sale.
